Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. This policy lists the cookies and similar browser storage that ortha.studio (“the site”) uses, what each one is for and how long it lasts.
The short version
- For visitors, the only cookies on our own pages come from Google Analytics, to count visits, and only if you accept them in the cookie banner.
- Two small browser settings remember your theme and skip an intro animation you’ve already seen.
- If you use a booking link, Cal.com may set its own cookies to run the booking popup.
- You can block or delete all of these in your browser at any time. The site keeps working.
01
The kinds we use
- Strictly necessary: needed for a feature you asked for, like remembering a setting. These don’t need your consent.
- Analytics: help us see which pages are useful. Visits are counted in aggregate. We ask first: if you decline in the cookie banner, they aren’t set.
- Third-party: set by Cal.com to run the booking popup, if you use a booking link.
We don’t use advertising, social media or tracking cookies that follow you around other websites.

Cookies and storage on this site
| Name | Provider | Purpose | Type | Lasts |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics | Tells visits apart so we can count visitors | Analytics cookie | 2 years |
| _ga_ZDLF1H7B4W | Google Analytics | Keeps the state of your current visit | Analytics cookie | 2 years |
| ortha-studio-theme | ortha.studio | Remembers light or dark mode on pages with a theme switch | Local storage | Until cleared |
| ortha:preloaded | ortha.studio | Skips the intro animation once you’ve seen it in this tab | Session storage | Until the tab closes |
| ortha-consent | ortha.studio | Remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics cookies | Local storage | Until cleared |
| Various | Cal.com | Runs the booking popup and handles your booking | Third-party cookies | Set by Cal.com |
Vercel Analytics also counts visits, but it doesn’t use cookies or store anything in your browser. If you sign in to the site’s admin area (staff only), a login cookie keeps you signed in.
Cal.com’s booking script loads only when you hover over, tab to or click a booking link. Cal.com may then set its own cookies, for example inside the booking popup. We don’t control these cookies. Cal.com’s own privacy and cookie policies explain them.
03
How to control cookies
You can accept or decline analytics cookies in the banner that appears on your first visit, and change your choice at any time with the button below.
You can also block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. Look under Privacy or Site settings in Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Edge. Blocking them won’t break the site. The theme and intro settings just won’t be remembered.
If your browser blocks Cal.com’s script, booking links open Cal.com’s booking page instead.
To stop Google Analytics on every site you visit, you can install Google’s opt-out browser add-on.
